Risk Management Advisory Committee

The Risk Management Advisory Committee (RMAC) provides guidance to the Risk Management Program. Idaho Code §67-5773 establishes the powers and duties of Idaho’s Risk Management Program, establishes RMAC, and authorizes the Director of the Administration Department to consult with RMAC on insurance coverages administered by Idaho’s Risk Management Program. RMAC meets semi-annually, or more frequently if needed.

The Committee seeks public input and participation in its deliberations.

RMAC Members

Britt Raybould, Representative – Member with a term lasting until further notice by the House Speaker.

Carl Bjerke, Senator – Member with a term lasting until further notice by the Senate Pro Tempore.

Dave Tolman, Transportation Department Chief Administrative Officer – Large agency representative whose term expires on June 30, 2026.

Faith Knowlton, Administration Department Statewide Risk Manager – Member with an indefinite term.

Michael Pearson, Health & Welfare Department Operations Deputy Director – Large agency representative whose term expires on January 31, 2029.

Steve Bailey, Administration Department Director – Chair with an indefinite term.

Vacant – Higher education representative whose term expires on July 31, 2027.
