The Federal Surplus Property program acquires property no longer required by the federal government and transports, stores, and distributes the property to eligible agencies and programs. The Department of Administration administers the Federal Surplus Property program in Idaho. Operations are in full swing at the Federal Surplus Property warehouse location.
EligibilityParticipation is open to state and public agencies, certain non-profit organizations, and some specific businesses made eligible through the Small Business Administration that have registered with the program. Individuals are not eligible to purchase from the program. If you have questions regarding eligibility, contact us using the information listed at the right. If you send an email, we can reply with a copy of the application. The application can be printed, filled out, and mailed back to us at the address listed. Property and any associated costs may be paid for at the time of the purchase or we can invoice your organization. Cash or personal checks cannot be accepted. Public Access to PropertyProperty that is not sold to eligible entities may be sold to the general public. This is done exclusively by the General Service Administration (GSA). Property is available on an “As Is/Where Is” basis. Additional costs are charged to ship or deliver property from the Federal Surplus Property warehouse to your location. If we are able to find it, before we do anything else, we'll contact you to make sure you still need it and what we've found is acceptable to you.
