Temporary parking permits are not issued while the legislature is in session.
There are two types of temporary parking permits available for parking in the Capitol Mall:
Short-term permits are available for visitors doing business in the Capitol Mall, and for Capitol Mall employee who have temporarily misplaced their parking tag.
Long-term permits are available for one, two, or three months at a time. There is a fee of $5 per month for long-term permits, and they are valid in any general Capitol Mall parking area. These are available to employees of temporary service companies (such as ProPeople), to employees of a company that is providing a service to Capitol Mall employees, or to temporary State employees such as Legislative Attaches.
