Leasing & Property Acquisition

We assist state agencies in acquiring competitively-priced space meeting agency objectives. We resolve facility issues and project facility needs.

Idaho Code 67-5708 requires agencies to report on facility utilization at annual budget hearings. Leases for all state facilities must be negotiated and approved by the Division of Public Works using the State Lease form and the Facility Use Standards [DOC]. The State Facilities Manual discusses facilities for the benefit of both the real estate community and state agencies.

We also notify state agencies of the expiration dates of their leases so a timely process of renewal or acquisition can be accomplished.

Requests for Proposals

Listed below are RFPs for leasing facilities over 3,000 sqft and for property acquisitions. Please call the State Leasing Manager at the Division of Public Works for a listing of spaces less than 3,000 square feet sought throughout the State. To receive an RFP when it is issued, please send your mailing address and cities of interest to the Leasing Manager. If you have property currently available for lease, please the information to the State Leasing Manager.

Five Year Facility Plan - To project future space needs. Required for both leased and owned facilities. Due by September 1st of each year.
