What happens when I retire from the state of Idaho?

The State of Idaho has determined that the prescription drug coverage on all of the Active and Retired Employee medical plans is creditable. Creditable means that the amount this prescription drug coverage is expected to pay (on average) is as much as what the standard Medicare prescription drug coverage (Medicare Part D) will pay. Read or download a copy of the notice.
The State’s Retiree Medical plans for the plan year beginning July 1, will not be significantly changed. Premiums will remain at current levels and co-payments for generic medications will drop to $10 per 30 day supply. If you wish to change your current Medical plan or Prescription benefit you must do so by June 15.
The FY 2007 Medical Plans have been enhanced, and the monthly premiums and benefit coverage will remain the same.
