Ted E. Roper has been named Manager of the Industrial Special Indemnity Fund
(ISIF) for the State of Idaho, effective October 12. Roper, recently retired from a 26-year
executive and managerial career with the J.R. Simplot Company where he was Vice
President, Human Resources from 1994 to 2002 and prior to that, Director of Risk
Management. He brings to Idaho state government, extensive experience in property and
casualty claims insurance management, including workers compensation. The Industrial
Special Indemnity Fund adjudicates total and permanent disability claims and benefits,
resulting from “second injury” in the workplace. The ISIF office is located within the
Department of Administration, Division of Internal Management Systems.
